Engine Optimization.

Search engine optimization is the process of optimizing the visibility of your

websites . With the help of  SEO you can attract more eyeballs to see the

website. It is a process of increasing the quantity and  quality of traffic of your

website.

TYPES OF SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMISATION :

There are 2 types of Search Engine Optimization :

a. Off page SEO : All the activities that you will do outside your website is called

Off Page SEO .

b.On page SEO : All the activities that you will on your website is called On

page SEO .

Both OFF PAGE SEO and ON PAGE SEO are required to increase the ranking of

your website .

Google has its own algorithm/rules which it has devised for the  internet

marketing community. If you want to increase your website ranking you have to

follow the rules

There are 3 types of search engine optimization techniques followed by digital

marketers :

a.White Hat SEO :

b.Black Hat SEO

c.Grey Hat SEO

The only thing common in black hat ,white hat and grey hat SEO  is that all

techniques are aimed at increasing website ranking in  search engine  result

pages.

a.White Hat SEO :  White hat SEO is primarily targeted at the user, people who

visit your website You follow all the guidelines devised by google , create a user

friendly content .By user friendly content I mean is a content which is unique

and targeted at specific audience. Do not try to deceive google

B.Black Hat SEO :  Black hat SEO is the opposite of white hat . As the name

suggests techniques employed in black hat SEO are aimed at deceiving Search

engine . Those who employ these techniques will get quick positive results,but

in the long run when google understands that you have not followed the

guidelines, there is a risk of not only losing website rankings but there is a

probability of the website/domain being banned by google. Prominent

examples of black hat techniques are  cloaking,  keyword stuffing which will be

discussed later.

c.Grey Hat SEO : Grey hat SEO is a technique which employs both white hat

and black hat SEO .In this method you employ a ratio may be 95-5 /90-10 .You

use 5-10% black hat technique.

I would simply state that you should follow the protocol if you want to win in

the long run.It will be a difficult journey initially  but you will emerge as a

winner.When you will learn SEO you will realize that following white hat

technique is the best bet.
